Yaramako Mine, Shaft 1

The Yaramoko Mine project is located in Bagassi, approx. 270km south of Ouagadougou the capital of Burkina Faso. 

BAUER Engineering Ghana Ltd was awarded a first time contract for the installation of the secant retaining wall for the circular 55Z East ventilation shaft 1, centre pile and foundation support piles as part of the mine extension.

Scope of Works:

  • Guide wall for the secant piling wall
  • 14 nos, Ø 1180mm 23m depth piles, for one circular ventilation shaft, as secant pile wall
  • 5 nos, Ø 1180mm 23m depth piles, for foundation support of the raise boring machine
  • 1 nos 1012 mm diameter permanent casing for Emergency Escape way for the mining works. Permanent casing in 2 segments @24 meters lengths
